If you have an Outpost in play, you may not be attacked and your non-outpost Bases may not be attacked or targeted by your opponent until all of your Outposts are destroyed. Some Bases (designated "Outpost") protect you and your other Bases. Each Base has a Defense that represents the amount of Combat that it must be hit within a single turn to destroy it. Basesīases stay in play turn after turn until they are destroyed or scrapped. Ships you put into play stay in play (face up in front of you) until your Discard Phase. Ships provide a one-time effect each time you play them. There are two types of cards you can have in your deck, Ships and Bases. There is no cost to play a card, just place it in play (face up on the table in front of you) and do what it says. For example, you may play two cards from your hand, acquire a card, then play another card from your hand, etc. You may repeat any of these as many times as you like. It also is not a game exclusive to two players.four player games are also a blast! Just purchase another base game for the additional players. Your opponent is playing the exact same deck you are.so that's a big plus for me. Yeah they change the game slightly, but there's nothing that deviates exceptionally from the base game. Of course there are expansions which if you were to purchase every card available for this game (which some packs are sold out) you would pay a grand total of $65. That's the price you pay for original artwork, fresh gameplay, and not having Naruto in your game deck. Amazing right? 15 bucks to own a deck builder. The base game for two players rings in at 15 bucks. ![]() You have your factions and you're spending trade to buy larger ships to defeat your opponent. Pretty simple concept if you've played a shared deck builder before.
